Why you should blow out your hair

Ya’ll should be so use to me preaching this…lol

There’s so many reasons so let’s get started.

!. It Creates the Most Volume.  If your hair is fine, blowing out your hair is pretty much a MUST. The one and ONLY way to create volume is with heat & tension. Heat from a blowdryer, and tension from a round brush.

#2 It Suppresses Oils From Your Scalp. If you spray some sort of volumizing spray/mouse in your roots, it suppresses oil production for AT LEAST 24 hours longer than it would if you just let it air dry. which leads to my next reason…

#3 It Makes Your Style Last 1-2 Extra Days. This is no joke people. I can get almost 2 days more out of a style if I round brush my hair, than if I air dry it. It’s the little things!!!

#4 It’s Less Damaging Than a Flat Iron. If you’re one of those people that looooves to flat iron your hair, I ask you to please learn to blow it out! It was wayyyy less damaging because using a blow dryer and a round brush creates a constant flow of heat. But with a flat iron, the heat is trapped between 2 scalding hot plates which forces the heat into the hair strand, causing immediate damage. So keep the integrity of your hair, and blow-dry it instead!

#5 It Smooths Out Frizz. All you curly hair people know the struggle of this. There is absolutely no other way to smooth out frizz than with heat. It also makes your job wayyy easier than to try to smooth it while curling it. Just trust me on this one ;)

#6 It Helps Prevent Your Hair From Breaking Off. This is probably one of the biggest reasons to do it. Frizz is essentially the cuticle (the outer most part of the hair strand) that is standing up and is super susceptible to breakage. So if you smooth the hair down, the cuticle is slammed shut and isn’t as easily broken off by brushing it, the wind, ponytails, or even just running your hands through it.

#7 It Will Help Your Extensions Last Longer. Just like I explained in the last reason, the cuticle needs to be smoothed out. Extensions hair is no different. It will break off and thin out a lot quicker if it’s not smoothed out with heat. It also will keep them from getting tangly throughout the day! Extensions just need heat.

So… there ya have it. Smooth that hair babes. It’s worth it in the long run, even if your arms get tired ;)
